Henry Hernandez's passion to help clients work toward financial independence was sparked by his own experience as a client of the firm. "The advice and mentoring I received during my 10 years as a client transformed my life and fueled a desire to help others as a financial planner," he says. “I still budget on a monthly basis.”  Because of this perspective, Henry has a practical grasp of the issues most clients face.

Henry now has 20 years of experience as a financial advisor. He thrives on bringing clarity to each client's individual perspective of wealth and helps them build a tailored plan to help them work toward their goals. Henry offers a disciplined approach to the planning process, and he advocates for the revolutionary power of financial freedom.

After graduating from Indiana University, Henry was initially employed as an environmental consultant and then spent several years as a commodities trader in the energy field. He joined Jim and his team in 2000, and then returned to school, obtaining an MBA from Butler University with a concentration in finance. Henry holds Series 7 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial and a Series 65 registration with Private Advisor Group.

Henry and his wife Michelle have seven children. Henry loves having a big, loving, loud family, and he often refers to himself as a part-time Uber driver, as he spends much of his free time happily driving them to wherever they might be going. "Since they are captive in the car, this is when I am able to catch up with them."  Following in his father’s athletic steps, the Hernandez family members are self-proclaimed fitness junkies. Henry and Michelle are CrossFit enthusiasts, and their kids participate in youth and college-level sports.  “We are a classic overextended family,” remarks Henry. “But we enjoy a grace-filled life.”
